Since we seem to enjoy thunderstorms quite a bit. We should have a topic to talk about thunderstorms some

It's entertaining, so it does fit here LOL

I like really loud thunderstorms and love to sit on my balcony and watch them until it starts raining, which is when I get a jacket and then go outside and watch them

Rain ain't gonna stop me from enjoying thunderstorms

Yes I love thunderstorms. I sit on the patio and watch the whole thing, unless it gets too crazy lol. They calm me down for some reason

They calm me down also, which is quite weird I love thunderstorms, their so nice to watch and it's just amazing

Their quite hard to take pictures of lighting flashes though because my camera has a 3 second wait before a two second flash. :\

Mine takes forever too. It is quite annoying, waiting for my camera to take a picture. I can never get an instant picture. I am saving up for a new camera
One time a bolt of lightning came in and broke the lightbulb on the fan light. It was very scary

I payed so much for my camera and it still takes quite some time. I hate ones that can't take instant pictures. Now that is quite scary, I've never had anything like that happen around me.

I hate them too.

It was very scary and I was only like 8 or 9 years old

Yeah that would be quite scary I have to turn off my computer during thunderstorms because we don't want the computer to get fried by lightning. I need a camera that can allow me to take pictures of lightning

I don't turn off my computer but that would be a good thing to start doing. I wish I had a fast camera too

I don't want to destroy my computer, I'd be lost I have a lot of important code on here My camera is so slow, it takes for ever to take a picture, so fast moving things are almost impossible to get a picture of.

I would die without my computer one time I tried to take a picture of a bird sitting on my windowsill, but by the time it took the picture, the bird was long gone

I used to always say life without technology, is a life not worth living. Birds are so mean sometimes, when you go to take a picture the bird is gone just like in thunderstorms. It's almost impossible to get a picture of lightning. You'd have to be so lucky to get a really bad picture of lightning.

Yeah. I wonder how people got those really good pictures of lightning that are on google.

They have to have really good cameras to be able to get the picture. Or in some cases, create the picture on the computer.

I would guess they left the camera recording whilst their was a thunderstorm, and when it was finished, they would find the frame that the lightning was in. either that or they got really lucky

Yeah that's probably more likely, that they just record a video and capture the frames that they want later. They'd have to get very lucky to get a picture Odds of getting a picture of lightning ain't good.

P.S. 700 posts in a week and a half
