Anybody here play any music instruments? Personally, I play the b flat clarinet and I played the trumpet some. I haven't played a music instrument in quite some time though. I wasn't that great at playing, but I could play quite a few songs

I was able to play Power Of Love by Huey Lewis on the B flat clarinet, good enough that you could tell what song it was.

Oh wow that's amazing Can you play any good pieces on piano?

I played Clarinet for about 3 years and struggled with it some. I remember the first little while, I never got any good sounds

yeah if I hear any song, I can play it on the piano. I can play by ear or if you were to give me a song book I could play a song from it. I can play most of the classics
i.e. beethoven, mozart, etc

I did the same thing on the flute. it took me a while to get good sounds.

Playing by ear, is incredible. People that can do are really good. So you could play some random song on a mp3 player and then sit at a piano and play it?

I think that everybody makes silly sounds, when they first learn to play. I didn't do that when i learned a scale on the Trumpet though. I tried to learn the acoustic guitar but I couldn't seem to get a handle on playing with two hands. I learned to play some things on the electric keyboard with one hand. We weren't required to learn how to play with both hands at the same time. We just had to learn to play the parts of both hands.

yeah if i listen to any random song i can play it. my mom first found out when she bought me a keyboard when i was two. since then i guess im as addicted to the piano as i am to braingle and wocka.

I can play simple songs on the acoustic guitar but i am not good. Playing with strings is too much for me or something.

That's still amazing in my opinion. I can't play any songs, so playing even simple ones is great

Music is great to be into Have you played in any concerts or choirs? I was in a choir with a church when I was really young and that was quite fun

I've been on for quite some time I left this open all day and refreshed every 5 minutes

I have played in quite a few concerts, actually. I also played flute to represent Kentucky in a national concert. It was really fun I joined the church choir but then we moved so I had to change churches

Oh wow. Its too bad that I have to go soon because of dinner, and I have to take a shower to get ready for church.

Talk to ya tomorrow or sometime soon!!!

The band did great yes we actually placed. I'll have to ask the band director what place we got. The new church didnt accept people younger than 45 in their choir. That is stupid because all those old people have shaky voices

Glad you made this topic! Byeeeeeee

If i see a flyer or something, I'll try out, but its hard to find the time to do that. I find it hard to breathe while playing the flute, like i dont have enough air. it is supposed to take more air than any other instrument or something
