Anybody here play any War Craft or games?

I purchased War Craft 3 but didn't like the high quality graphics and cut scenes. I'm more used to War Craft games having simple graphics and have a fun game play without the need for high quality graphics.

I have War Craft 2 Tides of Darkness and the expansion pack and War craft 1. The versions that I have are the old DOS versions but dos box let's me play them on my windows XP operating system.

Feel free to talk about any War Craft games here

It's like this game where you have a small army and you have to collect resources to build up your army and complete certain objectives which usually involves destroying your enemies forces and rescuing hostages and stuff.

Their a lot of fun

Yeah it's a lot of fun. They usually include at least two missions, a create a map mode and an online mode. If you like strategy games their great.

There's even a War Craft thing on Braingle, about World of Warcraft, so I guess that Jake likes Warcraft also.

If you can find a copy of War Craft it's a lot of fun

Yeah i get bored often If you can find a copy of War Craft III, it is very fun and looks great

If you like strategy games, you'll love it My DOS version of War Craft II just disappeared off my computer so I have to start all over. I was quite far in the orc scenario and just had 2 scenarios left.

you'll probably only find War Craft 3 and maybe star craft. War Craft 1 and 2 are dos games, so you can't find them anymore. My dad just happened to have them lying around somewhere LOL

Ok um DOS means disk operating system, and it's were you have to enter text commands to run programs and games. very annoying and hard to use. There is a windows version of warcraft II, i just havent seen it in a very long time
